If any sec1s happen to enter this site..HI! xD Please be notified that the canoeing team will be having trials this week. It doesnt matter if we haven't been to your classes to notify you, there's a change in classes so we are unable to track everyone, my apologies for that. So do come as long as you are interested! Details : 13Jan, Wednesday 3.30pm to 6+- pm 15Jan, Friday 1.30pm to 5 +- pm We'll meet outside CCA room which is located by the Parade Square. Please change into your P.E attire & bring your slippers to change because we are going down to paddle in the water! Also bring along a water bottle. Then we'll walk to bedok reservoir, accompanied by at least 1 teacher, & our coach( Mr Ismail) will be there to guide us. It will be fun, I am stating in experience ( lol of cos i am, what am I saying..) xD Our safety precautions, if parents are worried : - we have life jackets on - our life jackets have whistles attached to it - most of the canoeists have 1star course, so we know how to handle situations when boats capsizes. - we are accompanied by at least 1 teacher, & a professional coach at the reservoir. How have school been for you girls?!xD I hope its been good. I am starting to love this year 2010! & do you smell training? I do! All the sweat & stuff! ( Behh, disguisting LOL jk) Okays, so heres your updates: Training resumes as of tomorrow! Monday, as usual, Landtraining! In case you ppl forget, I'll remind you girls what is expected of you: 1` Bring running shoes ( preferably sport shoes) 2` Bring jersy/ P.E attire ( full set! ) 3` Bring your heart, ear & endurance to train CYA! Natalie 0.0 2010 can it be the dawn of a fresh beginning for our team? I named this photo " Frowning Shona " LOLPhotos credits to : Farah Hahaaah so I am glad most of us ( whom I think truly deserved to be in our family) turned up & we all tried to get more juniors to join us: With our honest perspective that canoeing is MORE THAN JUST THE PHYSICAL. It improves and moulds our character. It teaches discipline, commitment, endurance, teamwork.... Lots more. We all tried to promote out CCA, & its not just for ourselves, but it's truly for the benefit for them too. & I know some of you heard others spoke bad about our CCA. But thats a tradition during CCA fairs, I always hear other CCAs doing that to all other CCAs. & this time I heard one utterly foul lie which I felt quite disturbed too. But I got over it anyway. So what some other ppl talk rot, girls, know we are the ones that didn't speak bad about other CCAs just to bring our own CCA up, that act is just shallow in my view. & we didn't need to do that. Anyways, lets just get over what other people have to say, forgive& forget, they are just trying to do their own job. & be proud of ourselves for what we've done! =D Natalie 4E3 ( Find me or any seniors if you have any queries, juniors =D) |
